Stuffed peppers a'la Hungary (each)

Introduction

A little healthier version of a classic Hungarian dish with a little Egyptian twist A little healthier version of a classic Hungarian dish with a little Egyptian twist
Number of Servings: 12

Ingredients

    20 oz ground turkey
    1 large onion chopped
    3 gloves of garlic chopped
    1 cup of cooked rice of your choice
    6 bell peppers cut in half or 12 hungarian peppers core removed
    1 jar of spagetty sauce
    salt and pepper to taste
    red paprika to taste
    2 tsp of cumin( optional)

Directions

Saute ground turkey with onions and garlic. Season to taste. Add cooked rice. When mixture cooled of to handle fill peppers with mixture.
Place peppers in large pot and pour omato sauce over it. Add water to cover peppers.
Cook it on stove or in oven untill sauce is bubbly and peppers are tender.
Each pepper is a serving.
You can store it for a few days in the fridge or freeze it.
