Can you use turkey instead? - 2/27/09

Yes, but make sure you use the nutrition facts for the turkey and not the one posted with recipe cause it's for 96% extra lean ground beef.

Tried this last night. We used regualr ketchup because the reduced sugar was pretty high for a small bottle. My boyfriend goes through alot of kethcup so we got a big bottle. But it was super yummy! He loved it also. And while you are cooking, the smell is fantastic! Will be making every week! - 3/2/09

im going to try this with tofu! see if it works. Im going to get the light tofu--lower calories--with some weight watchers bread and you have a real low cal recipe :D
ps: to make tofu have texture similar to ground beef I freeze it then thaw out to cook, that changes the texture of the tofu - 3/1/09

I gave this 5 stars because it takes great and is so easy to make. It cooks up in a jiffy and is delicious. After you cook it, letting it simmer on very low for as long as you like just makes it better. I used diet Pepsi (which I always prefer over diet Coke so that is what we had on hand). Try it - 3/12/13

I made this for dinner tonight for me, my husband and teenage son. I just used regular ketchup cause that is all I had on hand and didn't have any worcestershire sauce, cut up some red bell pepper and added fresh garlic cause I love garlic. I also didn't put vinegar in it. It was delicious! - 6/11/12
