PB&J Smoothie

Submitted by: SMBRYCE1

Introduction

This is delicious and helps me meet my protein and fat goals, plus it has that taste that reminds me of my favorite sandwiches growing up, PB&J made with strawberry preserves. YUM Make sure the peanut butter is gluten free and you've got a delicous gluten free snack without all the gluten found in the usual PB&J. If you're lactose intolerant try unsweetened almond milk. It works well with the peanut butter taste! Ingredients

    1/4 scoop Dream Protein
    1 cup Milk
    8 Frozen unsweetened strawberries
2 tbsp smooth organic peanut butter

Directions

Toss the ingredients in a blender. You may want to use a berry to help scrape the peanut butter into the center of the blender to avoid having any get stuck on the sides. Blend first on low speed, then raise the speed till all the ingredients are smoothly blended together. If you like it frothy like I do, turn the speed to low and open the top for a few seconds to whip air into the mixture. Let me know how you like it.

This makes 2 small glasses of smoothie. If eating this as a liquid meal I'd recommend drinking both servings and doubling the protein powder.

Number of Servings: 2
