Better Homes & Gardens - One Pot Spaghetti

Introduction

Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    6 oz. ground italian sausauge
    8 oz. can tomato paste
    1 medium onioni
    small can of mushrooms (can use fresh too, but calculated with canned)
    2 cups chicken or beef broth
    1 tsp dried oregano
    1 tsp dried marjoram
    1 clove garlic
    brown sugar (I added this to the original recipe, it is included in nutrition facts)
    6 oz. spaghetti, broken

Directions

makes 4 servings

Cook meat, onions, and garlic until meat is brown. Drain any fat. Add everything but the pasta and bring to a boil. Then, slowly add the spaghetti and stir after each addition. Return to a boil, and keep at a slow boil, uncovered, until pasta is cooked and sauce reaches desired consistency.
