Beans, black, 4 cup (remove) Red Ripe Tomatoes, 1.5 cup, chopped or sliced (remove) Onions, raw, 2 cup, chopped (remove) Garlic, 6 clove (remove) Chili powder, 3 tbsp (remove) Bay Leaf, 1 tsp, crumbled (remove) Hamburger Patty 80% Lean, 4 serving (remove) *Canola Oil, 1 1tsp (remove) Yellow Sweet Corn, Canned, 1 can (12 oz) yields (remove) 1 cup brown basmati rice
cook hamburger in fry pan (I used 90/10 lean) with onions and garlic and canola oil. place dry beans (16 oz ) in crockpot and add water to cover bean one inch above then add cooked meat and cut up tomato and corn and spices. I used cumin powder- cook 4 hours or until beans are tender. add uncooked rice and let cook another 30 min.
