This is an adaptation from a Runners World Recipe found in the October 2007 Issue. I calculated the nutrition as ONE serving. So when you enter it into your food planner, divide accordingly. Ingredients

1 1/2 cups milk (1%)
1 cup oates
1/4 cup white flour
1/2 cup whole wheat flour
1/2 chopped pecans
1/4 cup wheat bran
1 tbs baking powder
2 tbs brown sugar
1 tsp salt
2 eggs, beaten
Directions

Pour milk over oats and let sit. Sift together flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Lightly stir eggs into oats mixture. Add dry ingredients to wet, stirring until combined. When the batter is thoroughly mixed, stir in the pecans.
Ladle it onto a griddle, or grease up the waffle iron and make some waffles.
