Fish Pie - Tesco Recipe Card

Ingredients

    750g floury potatoes - peeled and chunked
    2 egg yolks
    60g butter
    200ml milk
    1 tbsp plain flour
    175ml fish stock
    200ml creme fraiche
    tarragon
    lemon zest
    750g fish pie mix

Directions

boil potatoes for about 20 mins and mash
add egg yolk, 50ml milk and 25g butter, season to taste.

Use remaining butter and make white sauce with milk, flour and fish stock. Once thickened add creme fraiche and tarragon and lemon to taste.

Layer fish mix in bottom of oven dish
pour over sauce
add mashed potato on top

cook at c 160C-180C for about 30 mins.
