More Nutritious Banana Nut-Raisin Bread




Number of Servings: 10

Ingredients

    1 cup all purpose flour
    3/4 cup whole wheat flour
    1/2 cup granulated sugar
    1 Tbsp baking powder
    1/4 tsp salt
    1/3 cup chopped walnuts
    1/3 cup canola oil
    1/2 cup raisins
    2 Tbsp apple sauce
    2 medium bananas, mashed (prox 1 cup)

Directions

Preheat oven to 35 degrees. Spray a 9x5 -inch loaf pan with cooking spray; lightly flour.

In a medium bowl, combine all ingredients, except banana. Mix well.

Add mashed banana; stir or mix until blended.

Pour into prepared loaf pan. Bake in 350 degree oven for 40 minutes.

Makes 1 loaf (18 slices)
