Payson's Chicken Thighs

Introduction

This recipe was given to me by a chef in a Chinese restaurant but its customized for us "non-chef" types. This recipe was given to me by a chef in a Chinese restaurant but its customized for us "non-chef" types.
Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    3 - 4 pounds boneless skinless chicken breasts
    1/4 cup lite soy sauce
    1/4 cup oyster sauce
    1.4 cup honey
    1 bunch green onions (scallions)
    3 tbsp. fresh, chopped ginger root
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    1 tsp. white pepper

Directions

Preheat oven to 400F. Wash hands. Place chicken in mixing bowl, add soy sauce, oyster sauce, honey. Stir together to coat chicken, put back in the refrigerator while you do the next step. Chop fine the garlic, scallions and garlic. Take the mixture out of the bowl and add the chopped ingredients and the pepper.

Using tongs, place the chicken on a baking sheet with sides. Bake for 20 minutes. Take out of the oven. Drizzle or brush a little of the remaining mixture over the chicken. Put back in the oven and back for another 10 - 15 minutes (depending on thickness of meat). Drizzle the remaining marinade over chicken and serve. Is excellent to serve over rice.
