Slow Cooker Stew

Introduction

A tasty stew to be served over egg noodles. An easy and yummy dinner that is great on a cold night. A tasty stew to be served over egg noodles. An easy and yummy dinner that is great on a cold night.
Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    1.5 lbs of boneless beef chuck steak cut into 1 inch cubes (fat trimmed)
    1/4 cup flour
    2.5 cups sliced carrots
    1 can diced tomatoes, undrained
    1 envelope Lipton Onion Soup Mix
    1/2 cup dry red wine (or water if you like)
    1 package (8 oz) egg noodles (cooked and drained)

Directions

Toss beef with flour. Place in slow cooker with carrots and tomatoes. In bowl, combine soup mix and wine (or water). Pour mix over beef. Cook covered on low for 8 to 10 hours. Serve over hot noodles.
