Lower fat Potatoes au Gratin

Introduction

Comfort food at its finest! With a quarter of the fat! Comfort food at its finest! With a quarter of the fat!
Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    4 potatoes, Russet medium sized
    .75 cup Light Cream
    .75 cups Skim Milk
    2 Tablespoons Flour
    2 cloves Garlic
    .5 tsp Salt
    .5 tsp pepper
    1 cup cheddar cheese

Directions

Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Slice potatoes thinly and then cut into quarters.
Whisk together in a bowl milk, cream, half and half, garlic, flour and spices.
Spray non stick cooking spray in glass dish.
Layer about half of the potatoes and drizzle about half of the liquid and then repeat with the second half
Bake for 30 minutes with foil, about 25 minutes without and add cheese, bake until brown and bubbly about 5 more minutes.
Serves about 8!
