Taco Soup (Serves 12)

Ingredients

    2 lbs ground meat
    1 large onion, chopped small
    1 can (4oz) green chilies
    1 tsp salt
    1/4 tsp black pepper
    1 pkg taco seasoning (1-/4 oz)
    1 pkg ranch dressing mix (1 oz)
    1 can hominy (14-1/4 oz), undrained
    2 cans (14-1/2 oz) stewed tomatoes
    1 can (15 oz) kidney bean, undrained
    1 can (15oz) pinto beans, undrained
    1-1/2 cup water

Directions

Brown meat with onions and green chilies in a big pot. Add the rest of the ingredients. Bring to a boil. Simmer on low for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
