Number of Servings: 2

Ingredients

    3 cups Swiss chard
    1 cup water
    1 tablespoon salt
    olive oil spray
    4 cloves garlic, coarsely chopped
    .5 tbsp Real bacon bits
1/8 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes

Directions

1. Wash the Swiss chard and cut into 1 inch strips. Separate the thick and tough stalk sections from the upper leafy strips.

2. Bring the water and 1 teaspoon of salt to a boil in a large saucepan.

4. Spray large skillet with the olive oil spray, add garlic, bacon bits and red pepper flakes cooking over medium heat until aromatic, about 3 minutes. Add the drained Swiss chard, cook and stir for 2 minutes.
