Laura's Shrimp & Rice with a Kick

Submitted by: LAURACS63

Introduction

This is a lower-calorie version of one of my favorite Guy (Food Network) recipes. Still tastes really good even without the chorizo. This is a lower-calorie version of one of my favorite Guy (Food Network) recipes. Still tastes really good even without the chorizo.

Heat oil until shines, add chopped Red Onion, Red and Green Bell Peppers, cook until tender and translucent, stir in garlic.

Stir in white rice, add salt to taste, stir in white wine, water and chicken broth and bring to boil for about 3 minutes.
