Healthy Applesauce Bars

Introduction

Number of Servings: 15

Ingredients

    WET
    1 cup brown sugar
    6 egg whites
    1/2 cup melted earth balance "butter"
    2 cups unsweetened applesauce

    DRY
    2 cups white whole wheat flour
    1 tsp cinnamon
    .5 tsp ground ginger
    .5 tsp ground nutmeg
    1 tsp salt
    2 tsp baking soda

Directions

Mix wet ingredients with whisk. In separate bowl blend dry ingredients. Add dry to wet and blend together. Pour in a 9x13 pan sprayed with cookspray. Bake 25-30 minutes at 350 or until no longer soft in middle. Cut into 15 squares by cutting 5x long way and 3x on the short side.
