Spicy Vegetable Soup

Introduction

I made this in the crock pot. A serving is about 1 1/2 cups. Also, I guessed on the spices - use them to taste. Also, I didn't measure the water and just covered the vegetables with it - it was probably a bit less than 4 cups. I went heavy on the cumin and it's warm, but not hot. I made this in the crock pot. Ingredients

    lentils, carrots, celery, yellow corn, green beans, onion, cumin, parsley, crushed red pepper, salt, water

Directions

I used dried lentils that had soaked overnight. Put everything in a slow cooker, turn it on low, come back in 4 hours and eat some yummy, warm soup.
