Healthy Spaghetti Alternative

Introduction

Ingredients

    1 small Zucchini
    1 medium carrot
    1 serving (per jar) of Ragu Chunky Sundried Tomato and Sweet Basil Spaghetti sauce
    6 Fit and Active (aldi's) turkey meatballs
    1 oz. of shredded part skim Mozzarella Cheese

Directions

Defrost meatballs in a microwave safe container. Set aside.

Use a pampered chef juilienne tool or similar peeler to shred the carrot and zucchini into long thing strands. You can peel the zucchini if you don't like the dark green part, or add it in for extra color and texture. Shredd the Zucchini down to the seeds and throw that core away. Place the shredded zucchini and carrot in a microwaveable bowl and mix together.

Top the zucchini and carrot (which replace spaghetti noodles) with the Ragu chunky sundried tomato and sweet basil spaghetti sauce, the cooked defrosted turkey meatballs and the mozzarella cheese.

Heat in microwave until everything is hot and steaming. This should take from 2-5 minutes, depending on the power of your microwave.
