Beer Braised chicken

Ingredients

    3 peaces bacon
    1 whole cut up chicken
    Salt and black pepper
    1 onion thinly sliced
    1 bottle dark beer
    2 tbsp cider vinegar

Directions

Pre-Heat oven to 400 degrees F
In dutch oven cook bacon till crisp, remove to paper towel reserving bacon greese. Cook chicken in bacon greese till golden brown on all sides, remove chicken and saute onions. Add chicken back to pot over onions and add beer. Cover and cook in oven 35 to 40 minutes turn chicken after 20 min. Take out of oven remove chicken to platter, add vinegar to pan and simmer on stove to reduce. Pour the now thickened sauce over chicken and top with crumbled bacon.
