Ingredients
-
1 pkg.- 14-1/2 oz. smoked turkey sausage
2 can green beans (14.5 oz. ea) drained)
3 baked potatoes (make day before)
1-small onion- chopped
1 can cream of mushroom soup, 98%ff
2 oz.mozzarella cheese, shredded, 2% milk, part skim or (can use Vermont sharp cheddar or other cheddar).
Also, other options: add chopped carrots
Directions
Bake 3 large potatoes day before..
Cut potatoes up, as if --for potato salad.
Cut us sausage, simmer in skillet + water,10 minutes, drain
2 cans green beans, drained well
1 small onion diced
Using a 9x13 casserole dish-- layer beans, potatoes, sausage, and onion. Add soup to top of layered dish (little water-if needed)
Sprinkle 2 oz. shredded cheese on top ( extra sharp cheddar or Vermont cheddar, or mozzarella). I use what I have on hand.
Cover with foil and Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes.
Makes 6 servings, 1 cup each
Recipe can be doubled to make 12 servings.
