Peanut Butter Pie

Submitted by: PEPPERSPRAYKAT

Introduction

This pie is so good, the hard part of having a slice will be in having JUST one slice. If you cut this pie into 8 slices, you will have about 300 calories less than "fattening" peanut butter pie. I am planning on experimenting with reduced fat peanut butter and butter substitutes to see if I get the same flavor with even less fat. Ingredients

Peanut Butter, smooth style, 1 cup
Cream Cheese, low fat, 8 ounces
    Splenda 1 cup
    Butter, unsalted, 1 tbsp.
    Vanilla extract, 1 teaspoon
Cool Whip, low fat, 1 cup
    Graham Cracker Crust
    Chocolate syrup, about 1 tbsp.

Directions

Beat Cream Cheese, Peanut butter, Splenda, butter and vanilla until smooth.
Fold in Cool Whip.
Gently spooon into graham cracker crust.
Garnish with chocolate syrup. This pie can be served frozen or just chilled.
I always have a little too much filling, I pour it into a bowl and keep it for my daughter that doesn't like the pie crust!
Makes 8 servings (or 9)
