Sweet and Savory Quinoa (Rice Cooker)

Introduction

I threw this vegan dish together when I was craving comfort food the day after Thanksgiving (and thus couldn't handle anything truly rich). I was pleasantly surprised at how tasty and well rounded it turned out. I forgot the salt, and I didn't even miss it! I ate it with some mashed cauliflower. Yum! Ingredients

    1 c Quinoa
    1 can chopped tomatoes, seasoned if you like
    2 T Dried Onion Flakes
    2 T Parsley, dried
    2 T Garlic powder
    1 t Curry powder
    1 t Turmeric, ground
    1 t Garlic Pepper
    1/2 t Paprika, Smoked
    3/4 c Water

Directions

Combine ingredients in rice cooker, stir, cook until liquid is absorbed and quinoa is cooked.
