1 1/2 cups whole wheat pasta shells 1 pound ground turkey 1 cup sliced mushrooms 1/2 cup chopped onion 1/2 cup chopped green pepper 15 ozs tomato sauce 1 tsp oregano 1/2 tsp garlic salt 1/4 tsp onion powder 1/8 tsp pepper 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese 4 tsp grated parmesan cheese
Cook pasta according to directions. In a large skillet, brown ground turkey, onion, green peppers, and 1/2 mushrooms until meat is no longer pink. Stir in tomato sauce and spices. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer 15 minutes. Drain pasta and place in a 8x8 casserole dish that has been sprayed with non-stick spray. Top with meat sauce and remaining mushroom slices. Sprinkle with cheeses and bake for 30 minutes at 350 degrees.
