    3 LB RUMP OR ARM ROAST
    1 CUP RED WINE VINEGAR
    1 CUP WATER
    2 PACKETS OF DRY ITALIAN SEASONING
    1/2 CUP PEPPERONCINI JUICE
    1 TSP SUGAR

Directions

IN CROCKPOT MIX THE FOLLOWING:
1 CUP WATER
1/2 CUP RED WINE VINEGAR
2 PACKETS OF DRY ITALIAN SEASONING
1/2 CUP PEPPERONCINI JUICE
1 TSP SUGAR

PLACE ARM/RUMP ROAST IN CROCKPOT. TAKE KNIFE AND DIG IN SEVERAL AREAS OF ROAST. POUR A HEALTHY DOSE OF RED WINE VINEGAR ON ROAST.

COOK 10 HOURS ON LOW FOR BEST RESULTS.

  • I made this recipe last night. It was simple to make, which is a big plus in my house. You could definitely taste the "italian" flavoring in the meat. Nice change from the plain old boring pot roast. - 10/12/07

  • This was not great. I would not make this again. So sorry to post this, but I really did not like this recipe. Also, the gravy is too sour so you don't want to spoon it onto the meat, which leaves the meat with no moisture and dry. - 10/10/07
