Introduction

Very easy dinner, and can add other veges and reduce beef to make it even healthier. Very easy dinner, and can add other veges and reduce beef to make it even healthier.
Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    16 ounces lean ground sirloin
    2 cans of low sodium diced tomatoes
    1/2 large onion
    3 cloves garlic
    2 cups whole wheat pasta
    1.5 cups fresh mushrooms sliced

Directions

Cook ground sirloin, onion, and garlic until beef is cooked. Add pasta, tomatoes, and mushrooms, as well as one can of water. Cover and cook on low until the pasta is soft, approx 15-20 minutes. Stir occasionally. Add salt and pepper to taste.

Makes approx 6 one cup servings.
