Cabbage Soup

Introduction

A simple and tasty soup recipe! A simple and tasty soup recipe!
Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    1 teaspoon olive oil
    24 ounces of water
    1 tablespoon ginger, minced
    2 cups chopped cabbage
    1 cup chopped onion
    2 cup chopped zucchini
    1 cup celery diced
    2 tablespoon cilantro
    2 tablespoon scallions chopped
    1 chicken flavored bullion
    1/2 teaspoon pepper
    1/2 teaspoon salt (if required)

Directions

Step 1: Sauté onions in pot for 5 minutes in olive oil.
Step 2: Add water, chicken flavored bullion, ginger, cabbage, celery, salt & pepper to taste.
Step 3: Simmer for a about 5-10 minutes until all vegetables are tender then add the zucchini and simmer for another 5 or so minutes.
Step 4: Add chopped scallions and cilantro to garnish.

Note: You can add any other vegetables of your choice as well.
