Introduction

I know these aren't the healthiest option, but they're a holiday staple at our house - yummy AND easy to prepare! I know these aren't the healthiest option, but they're a holiday staple at our house - yummy AND easy to prepare!
Number of Servings: 54

Ingredients

    1 box chocolate cake mix (I use Betty Crocker's Chocolate Fudge)
    2 eggs
    1/2 c shortening
    1 Tb water

    --
    powdered sugar for rolling

Directions

Combine all ingredients. Shape into small balls (approximately walnut size), then roll in powdered sugar. Place on ungreased baking sheet, and bake at 375 for 8-10 minutes. (Should still look a bit "wet" inside). Allow to sit on baking sheet for a minute or two, then transfer to cooling rack.

Makes approx 4 1/2 dozen cookies. Store sealed at room temperature.
