Ingredients

    1 pounds Ground turkey or lean ground beef
    1 Large can diced tomatoes
    1 Large can golden hominy
    1 Small can chopped green chilies
    1 Large onion, chopped
    1 Small can Ranch Style beans (other style may be substituted)
    1 Package Ranch dressing mix
    3 Tablespoons chili powder
    1 Tablespoon of ground cumin
    1 Tablespoon dried cilantro
    1 Tablespoon of garlic
    1 Tablespoon paprika
    1 Teaspoon of oregano
    1 Teaspoon of thyme
    1 Teaspoon of basil
    Lawry’s Seasoning, to taste
    1 Small jar picante sauce, hot or mild, to your taste

Directions

Brown meat in Gourmet Slo-Cooker and drain off fat. Add remaining ingredients and simmer at least one hour, the longer the better. The aromas, flavors, and colors are wonderful. The chili, spices, and hominy give this dish a Santa Fe theme.
