Homemade Roasted Red Pepper Hummus

Introduction

This is great as a sandwich spread or for dipping veggies. Yummy and healthy. This is great as a sandwich spread or for dipping veggies. Yummy and healthy.

Ingredients

    1.33 cup Chickpeas (garbanzo beans) drained & rinsed - 1 can
    1/2 cup Black Beans drained & rinsed
    .67 cup Roasted Red Peppers - peppers only packed in water
    1 Tbsp Chopped Garlic
    1 Tsp Sesame Oil
    1/4 Tsp Sea Salt - or a little more to taste
    1 Tbsp Dried Parsley
    1/3 cup water or a touch more for consistency

Directions

Blend everything together until smooth. To get the desired consistency you can add a little of the water from the jar of red peppers or a little more water.
