Ingredients

    3 Cups Flour
    1 1/2 tsp Baking Soda
    3/4 tsp salt
    3/4 cup butter, softened
    2 Cups White Sugar
    3 eggs
    1/2 Cup Lemon Juice
    3/4 Cup Plain Yogurt
    3 Tbsp Lemon Zest
    1/2 Cup Poppy Seed

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 F. Grease and flour 2 9X5 loaf pans. Sift together flour, baking soda & salt. In another bowl cream butter and sugar until light & fluffy. Beat in eggs one at a time.

Mix lemon juice & yogurt and add alternately with the sifted flour mix to the butter mixture. Mix until just blended. Stir in lemon zest and poppy seed. Pour into prepared pans and smooth tops. Bake for 50 minutes or until a knife inserted in the centre comes out clean. Cool for 15 minutes before turning out of pans. 100 gram = 170 calories.
