This is a healthy recipe that tastes sweet and delicious. We enjoy it at big family gatherings and special occasions. It can serve as a side or dessert. This is a healthy recipe that tastes sweet and delicious. We enjoy it at big family gatherings and special occasions. It can serve as a side or dessert.
Number of Servings: 16

Ingredients

    Large box of orange Jello powder
    16 oz cottage cheese, non-fat, small curd
    Large can of mandarin oranges--drained
    8 oz Cool Whip (or store brand), low fat

Directions

Mix the Jello Powder and cottage cheese together in a large bowl. When thoroughly mixed, add oranges (drained, can also cut oranges into half pieces if desired), stir. Add cool whip, mix thoroughly. Chill in refrigerator until meal time. Mixture will thicken upon chilling. Recommend at least 30 minutes of chill time.

Makes 16 - 1/2 cup servings
