Broccoli Roasted in Oven (4 oz/serving)

Introduction

Quick & easy. Eat as is or add to your favorite salad. Quick & easy. Eat as is or add to your favorite salad.
Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    1 lb Broccoli
    1tsp Pepper Flakes, Crushed Red
    1 Tbsp Olive Oil

Directions

1. Mix together the Olive Oil & Crushed Red Pepper Flakes.
2. Clean & cut Broccoli Florets to similar size.
3. Add to Oil & Pepper Flake mixture.
4. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
5. Place Broccoli in large oven proof pan & cook for 15 minutes.

You can add salt if you wish, but I do not find the need for salt when cooking with the Pepper oil. You can also add crushed Garlic to the Broccoli before oven roasting for additional flavor.

As always, cooking time will depend on how large your Broccoli Florets are cut. I prefer my veggies crisp, so cook to the shortest time possible.

The roasted veggies make a great addition to your salads.
