Banana Bread - Sour Cream & Walnuts

Introduction

This is an easy bake recipe. Makes approx 10 one inch servings.
For a variation to this theme add craisins or various seeds (ie. pumpkin, sunflower, etc.)

Ingredients

    1/4 cup Butter, Land o lakes light softned\
    1 cup sugar
    1 cup mashed fully ripe bananas
    1 cup Breakstone reduced fat sour cream
    2 Eggs
    2.25 cups flour
    1.5 tsp baking powder
    0.5 tsp baking soda
    0.5 tsp salt
    1 cup chopped walnuts

Directions

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Beat butter an sugar in a large bowl until will blended. Add bananas, sour cream, eggs and mix well. Add flour, baking powder and soda, salt and nuts and mix. Pour into a 5"x9" loaf pan. Bake 1 hour or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool and remove pan to wire rack. Cool completely before slicing. Refrigerate leftover bread.
