Orgasmic Organic Lemon/Sage White Bean Hummus

Introduction

A fabulous, blend of strong and delicate flavors create a hummus that is to die for and doesn't use the standby staple, chicpeas. A fabulous, blend of strong and delicate flavors create a hummus that is to die for and doesn't use the standby staple, chicpeas.
Number of Servings: 16

Ingredients

    2 c. organic canellini (white) beans *
    3 T. organic tahini (sesame seed butter)
    4 T. lemon juice
    3/4 t. garlic powder
    1/2 t. salt
    1-1/2 dried rubbed sage
    2 T. (1 fl oz) water

Directions

Blend all ingredients together until pureed. Chill & allow flavors to blend.

* I used 2 c. fresh (cooked from dried) cannelini beans, but you can substitute 1 15oz can no-salt beans, or rinse beans well under running water to cut down on sodium.

Makes sixteen 2-tablespoon servings.
