Cherry Almond Granola

Ingredients

    2 1/4 cup old-fashioned oats
    3/4 cup almonds, roughly chopped
    1/2 cup dried cherries, roughly chopped
    1/2 tsp salt
    3 tbsp organic brown sugar
    3 tbsp maple syrup
    2 tbsp coconut oil, melted
    1/2 tsp almond extract

Directions

Preheat oven to 250 degrees.
Chop cherries and almonds.
Combine first four ingredients in a large bowl.
In a smaller bowl, combine brown sugar, maple syrup, oil and extract.
Pour wet ingredients on top of dry and stir until evenly coated.
Spread granola mix on a baking sheet that has been sprayed with non-stick spray. Bake for 60-70 minutes, stirring every fifteen minutes to ensure even toasting.
