Introduction

A much lower fat version of a favorite holiday snack :) ~ My regular version of sausage balls has 21g of fat per ball! This version has only 3g of fat per sausage ball. A much lower fat version of a favorite holiday snack :) ~ My regular version of sausage balls has 21g of fat per ball! This version has only 3g of fat per sausage ball.
Number of Servings: 53

Ingredients

    1 lb. Jennie-O turkey sausage
    1.75 cups (7 oz.) Kraft 2% milk shredded cheese
    1/4 cup egg beaters
    2 cups bisquick

Directions

Mix all ingredients well and shape into small balls. (I use my smallest cookie scoop to measure out and then roll into balls.

Place on baking sheet and bake at 375 degrees for about 10 minutes (or until done and lightly browned. Be very careful not to overbake.

You may also freeze the uncooked balls and bake at a later time. (baking time extended to about 20-25 minutes for frozen sausage balls)
