Ingredients

1 head (or 2 small) red leaf lettuce
1 pear
1 oz blue cheese crumbles
.25 cup walnut halves
3 tbsp balsamic or fig vinegar
2 tbsp olive oil
black pepper to taste
Directions
Cut up pear into bite size pieces and roast in a 400 degree oven for about 20 minutes or till soft and slightly browned.
Toast walnut halves
To make the dressing combine the vinegar (fig vinegar tastes really good with this salad) olive oil and black pepper. Put aside
Wash and dry lettuce. Chop and combine with the roasted pear and toasted walnuts. toss with salad dressing and topp with blue cheese.
