Veggie Burgers

Introduction

A nice way to use up left over rice A nice way to use up left over rice
Number of Servings: 24

Ingredients

    3 c. cooked brown rice
    6 eggs
    1 1/2 c. dry bread crumbs
    1 c. grated parmesan cheese
    1 tsp oregano
    1/2 tsp salt
    1 tsp pepper
    2 T basil
    1 tsp Mrs Dash
    1 T canola oil
    1/2 c. onion chopped
    2 c. carrot grated
    2 c. finely chopped mushrooms
    2 cloves chopped garlic

Directions

Mix together first 9 ingredients. Sautee vegetables in oil until tender then mix into other ingredients. Form into burgers and fry until browned on both side, turning once. May eat so or serve on buns lettuce onion tomato and herbed mayonaise. Nutritional value is for veggie burgers as they are and not in a bun.
