Chicken Pita

Introduction

Like chicken tacos with a twist! Its so yummy! Like chicken tacos with a twist! Its so yummy!

Ingredients

    Boneless skineless chicken breasts
    olive oil
    curry powder
    1 red bell pepper
    1 green bell pepper
    mayonnaise
    garlic powder
    pita tortillas or small flour tortillas
    lettuce
    tomatoes
    shredded cheese

Directions

boil chicken breasts in a big pot until fully cooked (about 20 mins)
While thats cooking chopped 1 whole red pepper and do same with green pepper
chop 1 half of lettuce head
also chop 2 full tomatoes
When chicken is done drain then let cool for about 5 mins.
shred chicken into small thin strips
put 2 tsps olive oil in pan and heat
add chicken strips
add red and green peppers
coat chicken strips and peppers with about 6 tablespoons of curry powder while cooking. mix and blend
let fry for about 7 or 8 mins or until chicken is piping hot
while that is cooking put 5-6 tablespoons of mayo in a bowl mix with 1 1/2 tablespoons garlic powder.

Warm tortillas or pita in microwave 20 seconds
then spread mayo mixture on the warm tortilla or pita
(one side only)
add 1 table spoon chicken and peppers
then add shredded cheese , lettuce, and tomatoes
and enjoy!!
