I tried to lighten my old favorite recipe by using Smart Balance Omega3 sticks instead of butter, and dark chocolate chips instead of Hershey Milk Chocolate on top. Ingredients

2 sticks Smart Balance 50/50 Omega3 Blend
2 C. sugar
4 oz slivered almonds
1.25 C. Dark chocolate chips
Directions
Melt Smart Balance sticks; add sugar and continue to cook over medium heat, stirring frequently until mixture becomes the color of a piece of caramel.
Remove from heat and add 2 oz. slivered almonds.
Pour out onto greased/buttered flat cookie sheet. Spread to the edges of the cookie sheet.
Sprinkle the dark chocolate chips over the hot toffee. Allow to soften a little, then spread to cover. Sprinkly remaining 2 oz. slivered almonds over the top.
Refrigerate until chocolate is set. Break into pieces (about 1"x2". I think you should get about 75 pieces and calculated nutrition based on 1 serving is about 1"x2". Store in airtight container.
