Tempeh and Black Bean Burritos

Introduction

A great vegetarian burrito! A great vegetarian burrito!
Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    1 pkg Tempeh
    1 can black beans, drained
    1 cup or more salsa, mild or hot
    chopped onion, 1/2 cup or more
    chili powder to season tempeh
    canola oil
    tortillas, warmed and ready to go
    cheese, sour cream, peppers, or any other burrito toppings!

Directions

Cube or crumble the tempeh. Go around a teflon pan one time with the canola oil--maybe a tablespoon or two--and when it is hot, toss the tempeh and chopped onion in. Add the chili powder and fry the tempeh until it is golden brown. Add the black beans and salsa. You may want to add more salsa, if you like soupier burritos. Heat through. Spoon into the tortillas of your choice. Top with anything else you enjoy.
