Ingredients

I take 4 plum tomatoes and remove the part where they were on the stem and then chop them finely. Remove the seeds prior to chopping if possible for a less watery product, or you can drain the tomato water off too.

I use one small white onion and remove the outer layers that you normally would then proceed to chop the onion finely too and add to the bowl with the tomatoes.

You can put in as many Jalapeno peppers as you like. If you like it HOT, keep the seeds and rib in, or remove them for a milder Pico. I recommend trying 2-3 seeded jalapenos then upping them as your tastes likes

I chop up one-half a bunch of cilantro and add to the previously chopped ingredients

The juice of one lime or several tableSPoons of bottled lime juice and salt to taste. Mix well and ENJOY

Directions

This recipe makes a nice large bowl of Pico de Gallo. It could serve several people or just a nice large portion for one, LIKE ME!

You can eat it ala carte, or with chips or with an egg omelet, etc.

Hope you like this recipe as much as I do
