Broccoli Sauce

Introduction

Serve this sauce over whole wheat spaghetti noodles, brown rice, or vegetables. Yum! Serve this sauce over whole wheat spaghetti noodles, brown rice, or vegetables. Yum!

Ingredients

    1 c. steamed broccoli
    1/2 c. vegetable broth
    1 t. white or yellow miso
    1/4 whole avocado
    1 t. olive oil
    1 t. sesame seeds
    1 T. hemp seeds
    1 clove garlic, smashed
    Real Salt to taste

Directions

Combine all ingredients in a blender or food processor. If you want a chunkier sauce, use a food processor. If you want a creamier sauce, use a blender. Process until all ingredients are thoroughly combined. Serve immediately, or if desired, heat in a small saucepan over low heat until heated through.

Makes 1 or 2 servings, depending on how much sauce you like for your pasta.
