Fly out-the-door and through your day with this American cheese, Canadian bacon, and English Muffin egg sandwich. Delicious and filling, it is a great alternative to a McDonald's Egg McMuffin. Ingredients

    Toasted sprouted-grain English muffin
    Poached egg
Low fat or Fat-free American cheese
    Canadian bacon

Directions

Slice the English muffin in half and toast it to taste.
Either warm the Canadian bacon in a pan or in the microwave to taste.
Poach the egg to taste.*
Once everything is heated:
Put the egg on the bottom half of the muffin.
Put the cheese and Canadian bacon on in the order you prefer.
Put the top half of the muffin on and lightly press together.
Enjoy!
Makes one sandwich.

This sandwich travels really well in foil.

*I use a microwave egg poacher for a minute and thirty seconds. My egg comes out perfect every time and the poacher was cheap at the grocery store.
