Amy's Garbage Turkey Burgers

Introduction

You can toss anything you have left over veggie into these burgers- but at least a cup of peppers as they help keep the burger together. Tabasco sauce is a must- just use less if you are not a big fan- you will be suprised how the peppers dull some of the zing. I serve with lettuce, tomato and dark mustard on whole wheat bulkie rolls. Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    1 LB ground turkey
    .5 cup of shredded montery jack cheese (or whatever left over cheese you have around..shred it)
    .5 cup diced (ea) red, green and yellow peppers
    .5 cup of large onion chopped
    2 tsp of tabasco sauce
    1/4 cup of bread crumbs (or Panko)

Directions

Remove any rings and or bracelets!

In a large bowl combine ALL ingredients using your hands to mush it and separate into 4 balls that you will flatten into patties.

Cook on a non stick skillet until cooked to your preference.

Makes 4 burgers
Serve on a whole wheat or multigrain bulkie roll with some good spicy mustard!
