Deep Dish Pizza Casserole

Introduction

Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    1 lb ground turkey or chicken (if you use beef add 70 calories per serving)
    1 (15 oz) can chunky italian-style tomato sauce
    1 (10 oz) can refrigerated pizza crust dough
    1 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Directions

Preheat oven to 425

Cook meat in a non stick skillet over med-high heat until browned- stirring until it crumbles. If using turkey or chicken, no need to drain. Add tomato sauce and cook until heated.

While meat cookes, coat a 13X9 baking dish with cooking spray. Unroll pizza crust dough and press into the bottom and halfway up the sides of baking dish. Top bottom of pizza crust with meat mixture.

Baked uncovered for 12 minutes, top with cheese and bake another 5 minutes or until crust is browned and cheese melts. Cool 5 minutes before serving.
