Ingredients

    1 tub fresh black eye peas (3.5 servings)
    0.25 ounce unsalted butter
    1 cup chopped onion
    1 teaspoon celery seeds
    1/2 ts garlic salt
    2 cups vegetable broth

Directions

4 servings

Boil peas in 2 cups water for 8-10 minutes.

Saute onion in butter until soft. Add spices, drained peas and broth. Simmer 10 minutes. Serve over rice.
