Ingredients

    1-2 cloves garlic
    2 cups chick peas (approx 1 tin)
    1 cup pimentos or roasted red peppers (approx 1 tin drained)
    2 tbsp tahini
    1/4 cup fresh squeezed lemon juice
    1 tsp salt
    1/4 tsp fresh ground
    liquid from peppers

Directions

chop garlic in food processor. add the rest and process until smooth. If you like the consistency do not add the liquid from the peppers. If you like a larger portion, add liquid to make it 4 cups of hummus total. It will thicken when it sits in the fridge. makes 8 servings
