Comfort Food Cassarole

Introduction

This was my Mothers go to recipe when I was growing up. Now it is my favorite comfort food. This was my Mothers go to recipe when I was growing up. Now it is my favorite comfort food.
Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    Ground beef, lean, 16 oz
    Onions, raw, 1 large
    Low Fat Cream of Mushroom Soup, 3 cup
    Elbow Macaroni, Heartland 100% Whole Wheat, 3 cup
    Water, tap, 4 cup (8 fl oz) (remove)

Directions

Bring 4 cups water to boil. Add macaroni cook to al dente.

Place a skillet on medium heat. Spray with a short spray of oil then add chopped onion and carmelize. Add ground beef and brown. Add mushroom soup and warm.

Combine meat mixture and macroni in a cassarole dish and place in oven at 350 degree until bubbly.
