Introduction

Adapted from Bush's Baked Beans recipe. Really good. Use organic beans if you can. Check the tomato sauce label to make sure it's low sugar- Trader Joe's is pretty good. Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    Beans, pinto, 2 cup
    Tomato Sauce, .5 cup
    Yellow Mustard, 3 tsp or 1 packet
    *Chopped Onion (2 tbsp/1 serving), 1.5 serving
    Coconut Oil, 1 tbsp
    Salt, 1 tbsp
    Truvia (Zero Cal Stevia), 3 packets

Directions

Fry onion in oil. Add tomato sauce. Whisk in mustard and a dash of salt. Add pinto beans. Stir and cook 5 minutes on medium heat. Sprinkle Truvia on top and mix well. Serve immediately.
