Stir fry lettuce

Introduction

Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    1 head ice burg lettuce
    2 tsp soy sauce
    1 1/2 tsp chinese rice wine or dry sherry
    .5 -.75 tsp. splenda
    1 1/2 tablespoons vegtable or peanut oil
    2 cloves garlic minced
    1 1/2 tsp minced ginger
    1/8 -1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
    1/2 tsp salt
    1/2 tsp sesame oil
    1 tsp chia seeds

Directions

wash lettuce, slice into pieces about 1 inch wide.
combine wine,splenda and soy sauce in small bowl stirring. set aside
heat wok or pan on medium high and add oil. when oil is hot add garlic,ginger and red pepper stir 5-10-seconds till aromatic.
add lettuce andspinkle with salt stir fry1-2 minutes till leaves begin to wilt.
give sauce a restir, and add to pan with lettuce. sir fry 1 more minute, until lettuce turns dark green, remove from heat stir in sesame oil spinkle on chia seeds and serve.
